Gianluca Amadori is a contemporary artist whose practice focuses on abstract and material painting. After graduating from the State Art Institute of Forlì in 1987, he developed a visual research centred on the three-dimensional quality of the canvas.

Through careful layering, he combines materials such as marble powder, sea sand, vinyl adhesives, acrylics and gold leaf. His works create a constant dialogue between the raw strength of texture and the purity of geometry, producing surfaces crossed by sharp fractures and areas of intense light.

His rigorous conceptual approach extends to the presentation of the works themselves: Amadori personally creates the essential box frames that accompany his paintings.

Active on the exhibition scene, in April 2025 he presented his works at the Generali Assicurazioni headquarters in Forlì and curated his own exhibition spaces at the 2025 and 2026 editions of Vernice Art Fair. In March 2026 he took part in the exhibition Eclettici at the Complesso di San Sebastiano in Forlì alongside Ezio Bruno Caraceni. He was also awarded the 2026 First Prize “Margherita d’Argento”.
