Aleandro Roncarà: biography and artistic journey Aleandro Roncarà, born in Orbetello in 1967, is an Italian contemporary artist known for an immediate, ironic and highly recognisable visual language. His passion for drawing has accompanied him since childhood and gradually became the starting point for a distinctive personal artistic research. Mondorondo: the artist's creative universe Since 2005, Roncarà's research has taken shape through Mondorondo, an imaginary universe populated by fantastic characters. Figures such as Centòmini, Re Blu and Dixie become the protagonists of visual narratives in which fantasy, lightness and reflection coexist. Mondorondo is a boundless place built from images that seem to emerge from dreams, memories, music and popular culture. Aleandro Roncarà's style and works His works stand out for intense colours, dynamic forms and bold black outlines that define the characters and organise the composition. This decisive mark gives the figures an instantly recognisable identity, turning them into contemporary icons. Through an apparently playful language, the artist invites viewers to observe reality from a different perspective, leaving room for imagination and personal interpretation. From painting to sculpture and design Roncarà's production includes paintings, drawings and sculptures. His figures leave the painted surface to take on a three-dimensional presence while retaining the irony and chromatic energy that distinguish his style. He has also applied his creative language to fashion, design, interiors and accessories, demonstrating the versatility of his imagination. A world of colour, fantasy and irony Aleandro Roncarà's works lead the viewer into a positive and visionary dimension where colour becomes energy and each character holds a story. His work transforms everyday elements, emotions and memories into images capable of communicating with immediacy and authenticity. Exhibitions Aleandro Roncarà has presented his work in solo and group exhibitions, contemporary-art events and exhibition projects in Italy and abroad. His research also includes installations and interventions in which the characters of Mondorondo interact with architecture and public space.
