Jacopo Berlendis: Artist and Architect
Education and Personal Journey
Jacopo Berlendis, born in 1989, is an artist and architect. He attended the Art High School in Bergamo and graduated in Architectural Sciences from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 2015.
After graduating, he spent a period experimenting in the Balkans, mainly in Albania, where he encountered contemporary art in many of its forms. This experience broadened his architectural and artistic vision and developed his interest in the relationship between space, matter and perception.
Artistic Research
Since 2017 he has been co-founder of MAU Architecture, an architecture studio working from landscape design to interior design on local and international projects.
In 2020 he began a new phase of research devoted to informal and material art, experimenting with different materials, surfaces, forms and techniques. His first commissions helped define the pictorial identity and research that characterise his current production.
Poetics
In the works of Jacopo Berlendis, architecture, design and art enter into dialogue through research centred on matter, memory and meaning. Surfaces become fields to explore, where texture, depth and composition create a dimension that extends beyond purely visual perception.
Each work becomes an open space for perception and interpretation, translating complex emotions and concepts into engaging visual forms.
Fanciulli Art presents a selection of works by Jacopo Berlendis for collectors, private clients and interior design projects.
