Cinzia Pellin was born in Velletri, near Rome, in 1973 and showed a natural talent for drawing and painting from an early age. After attending the Liceo Artistico in Latina, she continued her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, graduating in Scenography. This background has had a strong influence on her pictorial language: her large-scale works are conceived with a refined sense of framing, light and visual tension. Pellin is best known for intense female figures whose elegance and charisma go beyond photographic realism. Her painting explores identity, beauty, strength and emotion through a sophisticated figurative style in which the gaze often becomes the central narrative element. Her works have been exhibited in Italy and internationally and are appreciated by collectors for their powerful contemporary presence.
