Writing with Fire, Painting with Light.
Born in Latina, Mirko Cannizzaro is an artist and craftsman who has transformed a traditional technique into a contemporary visual language. Specialising in blown glass illuminated with noble gases, his research moves beyond the traditional sign to create genuine luminous works of art.
There is a fine line between exceptional craftsmanship and pure art: this is the space in which MirkoNeon works.
With an eye on the European art scene, Mirko shapes glass and controls neon to create images that seem to possess a life of their own. His work is not simply about illuminating a room, but about constructing images through coloured glass, transforming transparent tubes into brushstrokes of liquid light.
His reputation has taken his technical expertise beyond Italy, contributing to major artistic projects across Europe and establishing his practice within the field of contemporary neon art.
